Modeling work in Riga
Riga is the largest city in the Baltics and the centre of Latvia's modeling market: 16 of the 17 agencies in the country's catalogue work here. Some develop new faces and send them to foreign markets as mother agencies, others mostly work with local advertising, online retailers and events, and others again are first of all model schools or casting databases. The catalogue lists every business that represents models and does not vouch for them: each profile shows what we found, good and bad, and where the press has reported on an agency, those reports are there too.
Licensing, law, tax, minors and work permits are covered separately on the Latvia page, modeling agencies in Latvia. This page is about the city itself.
Agencies by type and board
- Fashion and mother agencies (9). Natalie Models, Terri Model Agency, Moon Models, Bro Models, Freyja Models, Perluca Management, DEAM Model Management, The Runaways and 2B Models.
- Kids agencies (2). Baltic Kids Models (Babochka) and Santa Model Management.
- Agencies for older models (2). Modnye Models for women aged 30 and over and Cult Models Agency for models aged 40 and over.
- Casting agencies with a database (2). Baltic Casting Agency and 8 Studios.
- A fashion house's agency (1). Gints Bude Model Management.
You can filter the catalogue by board: women (9 agencies), men (4), new faces (4), kids (1) and senior (1). Six agencies have no board assigned, because their websites do not divide models into boards or they have no website. We found Santa Model Management and Cult Models Agency only on social media.
Two things are useful to know in advance. The 2B Models website is live, with a women's board, but its company, Agency 2B SIA, has been in liquidation since 26 October 2023. The website of The Runaways was locked behind a password on 11 October 2026, so we took its boards from an archived copy.
Where the agencies are in Riga
The map shows 9 of the 16 agencies, those whose address we have.
- Old Town and the boulevard ring. Gints Bude Model Management (Kaļķu iela 24) and Perluca Management (Raiņa bulvāris 31).
- Central streets. DEAM Model Management (Krišjāņa Barona iela 5), Natalie Models (Dzirnavu iela 67), Baltic Casting Agency (Avotu iela 17) and Terri Model Agency (Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 100).
- Further from the centre. Baltic Kids Models (Babochka) and 8 Studios give the same address, Brīvības gatve 193a, and Modnye Models holds its classes at Uriekstes iela 1.
We have no address for the other seven agencies, so they are not on the map: 2B Models, Bro Models, Cult Models Agency, Freyja Models, Moon Models, Santa Model Management and The Runaways. You will learn the meeting place when you contact the agency. The railway station is in the centre, close to the Old Town; for Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela, Brīvības gatve and Uriekstes iela public transport is the easier option.
Schools and fees in Riga
Some Riga agencies run paid model schools, and a few charge for a place in a database. A school is not representation: an agency commits to representing you only by contract. The prices we found on the agencies' websites in October 2026:
- Baltic Kids Models (Babochka). The school costs €90 to €110 a month for children from 7 and €80 to €100 for ages 5 and 6. A database listing for children who are not pupils of the school and bought no photo shoot costs €25 a year, and a portfolio shoot starts at €290.
- 8 Studios. A place in the agency's model catalogue costs €34.50; the agency writes that the casting is paid and includes a 30-minute portfolio shoot.
- DEAM Model Management. A model school for girls from 12: a 6-month programme at €120 a month.
- Modnye Models. A school for women aged 30 and over: a 4-month course at €140 a month.
- Freyja Models. An online course for girls aged 13 to 19 at €130 a month; the page shows dates for September 2024.
- Natalie Models. A model school and a summer camp; the camp on 5–10 July 2026 cost €400.
Terri Model Agency and Gints Bude Model Management run paid studios as well. Perluca Management writes on its website that it asks for no money to be scouted or to join. Exact amounts and sources are on the agencies' profiles.
Riga Fashion Week
Riga's main fashion event is Riga Fashion Week, organised by the Baltic Fashion Federation. It runs twice a year, in spring and autumn. The autumn 2026 edition, the 43rd, takes place on 20–24 October: the main shows are at the Zunda Towers complex on 21 October and at the Hanzas Perons cultural venue on 22–23 October. The line-up includes designers from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland and Italy, among them the Lithuanian labels Valldea, Marija Petraitytė and Rimgailaite Costume, plus a show by the children's label Paade Mode.
For a Lithuanian model this is a practical opportunity: the event is close and Lithuanian designers show there. If you want to walk, ask your agency whether it works with a Riga agency that casts models for fashion week. Dates for every season are in the fashion calendar.
Tip. Bring fresh digitals to a casting or go-see in Riga, and check that the address and time were confirmed by the agency, not just by a social media message.
Press reports about agencies
The catalogue lists every agency, so here we also set out what the media have reported about them, together with the agencies' own replies. These are reports, not findings by a court or an authority.
- Natalie Models. The Latvian public broadcaster LSM reported on 8 February 2026 that the agency is mentioned in correspondence in the published Epstein case documents: a November 2009 email to Epstein describes a casting organised in Riga by the agency's owner, and emails of December 2009 with the agency discuss a possible trip to Miami by a Latvian girl. LSM also writes that the agency ran the Baltic Beauty Contest in 2011 and 2012 and that the 2011 jury included Jean-Luc Brunel, co-owner of the agency mc2. The article does not say that any model travelled through the agency; the head of the agency told LSM he is sure that the girl did not travel to the USA and said he knew nothing about Brunel's past.
- 2B Models. The Latvian public broadcaster LSM reported on 8 February 2026 that the agency is mentioned in the published Epstein case documents: a message Epstein received on 3 January 2010, whose sender is not disclosed, speaks of an intention to visit the '2B Riga' agency. The article does not report any contact by the agency, any trip or any contract. The agency's former owner stated to LSM in writing that neither he personally nor the company has been connected with activities of this kind. According to the Latvian Register of Enterprises, SIA 'Agency 2B' has been in liquidation since 26 October 2023 (by the shareholder's decision of 18 October 2023). As of 11 October 2026 the company had not been struck off the register.
- Gints Bude Model Management. NRA reported on 17 February 2026 that at a Saeima committee hearing on model agencies advertising in schools, the centre Marta pointed to a guest lecture by the fashion house Gints Bude at Riga Secondary School No. 13 in 2023. Officials told the hearing that agencies may not advertise or recruit in schools.
The same facts, with links to the sources, are on the agencies' profiles. Before you apply, read both the report and the reply, and put your questions to the agency itself.
Getting there from Vilnius
- By train. The LTG Link train from Vilnius to Riga runs daily with no changes. It leaves early in the morning, reaches Riga around midday (about 4 hours), returns in the afternoon and gets back to Vilnius at about 9 pm. That leaves time for a casting and the trip home on the same day. Riga station (Stacijas laukums 2) is in the centre. Buy tickets early, as the train often sells out.
- By bus. International coaches such as Lux Express run between Vilnius and Riga, which helps when the train times do not fit.
How to get started
The first step is an agency in Lithuania that represents you and, when it makes sense, puts you forward to a partner in Riga. If you contact a Riga agency directly, first read on its profile what we found about fees, its school and the company's status, then send simple unfiltered photos and your measurements, and plan any meeting around the train times. Rates and earnings are covered in our guide how much do models make, and the nearest market at home is on the Vilnius page.
