Where the agencies are in Vilnius
Vilnius agencies sit fairly close together. Most are in or around Naujamiestis (New Town): on Savanorių Avenue and on Naugarduko, Švitrigailos, Smolensko and Mindaugo streets. A few are in the centre and near the Old Town (Pamėnkalnio, J. Tumo-Vaižganto and Kražių streets), and one kids' school and agency is across the Neris on Konstitucijos Avenue. Distances are short: agencies in the centre are a walk or a few bus or trolleybus stops apart, so you can visit several in one day.
The city has every type of agency. Fashion agencies with women, men and new faces boards usually act as mother agencies and place models abroad. Commercial agencies supply people for advertising, music videos and TV shows, while kids' schools and agencies teach walking, posing and acting and represent the children too. Who books models in Vilnius
Most of Lithuania's advertising agencies, production companies, TV channels and larger online retailers are based in the capital, so this is where most local work happens. The most common bookings:
- E-commerce and catalogues. Studio shoots for clothing, footwear and accessories. This is the steadiest work, especially before each new season.
- Advertising. Photo and video shoots for brands, banks, telecoms and retail chains. Castings are usually run by the production company or a casting director, who book models through agencies.
- TV and music videos. Shows, music videos and shoots that sometimes call for acting skills.
- Fashion events and presentations. Designer shows plus shopping centre and brand events.

Fashion events in Vilnius
Fashion weeks and festivals in Vilnius are not a main source of income for models, but they give runway experience and visibility with designers and stylists.

Vilnius Fashion Week returned to the capital in 2025 after a 25-year break. It is organised by ELLE Lithuania and ELLE Baltic, and its main evening, ELLE Iconic Night, shows ten Lithuanian designers presenting collections made for the occasion. Sustainable Fashion Week Vilnius has run every year since 2020, and its show on Town Hall Square is free. Mados infekcija reached its 29th edition in 2026. Castings and open calls
Most Vilnius agencies take applications online and invite only shortlisted candidates to meet at the agency. Some hold open calls a few times a year that you can walk into without an appointment, and others tour Lithuania looking for new faces.
Supermodels castings take place in Vilnius. The agency holds open days a few times a year at Pamėnkalnio g. 9: no registration or portfolio needed, the agents measure you, take digitals and tell you on the spot whether you are a fit. Test shoots and studios
Vilnius agencies usually set up first test shoots with photographers they work with regularly, in rented photo studios or outdoors. Getting around Vilnius for castings and shoots
Bus and trolleybus tickets can be bought in the JUDU app, or you can tap a contactless bank card on board. If you have several castings in different places in one day, plan the route in the app beforehand. From other Lithuanian cities the easiest way in is by train or coach: the railway and bus stations are next to each other, close to Naujamiestis, where most agencies are. A casting always takes place at an agency or studio. Genuine agencies invite you to their office or a studio, never to a hotel room or private flat. Minors go to a first meeting with a parent.
