Worth knowing

  1. On the agency's site the women's boards are International, Scandinavia, New Faces and Curve, the men's boards International, Scandinavia, New Faces and Non binary, plus a Social board. The join page says the agency looks for natural people without cosmetic procedures; no fees are mentioned.

  2. The agency's own site says Heartbreak was founded in Oslo in 1988 and quickly became one of Norway's leading agencies; it opened its booking platform Pholk in 2003 and its Copenhagen office in 2010 (Odensegade 6). The agency says it was one of seven Danish agencies that signed the original Danish Fashion Ethical Charter.

Heartbreak Management in its own words

Heartbreak was founded in Oslo in 1988, and quickly became one of the leading agencies in Norway.

How to apply to Heartbreak Management

  1. Apply through the agency's own online form – the link is above. Prepare 4–6 unretouched digitals and your measurements.
  2. Check its website or Instagram for open-call days; if none are listed, apply online.
  3. If you are represented by a mother agency, let it make the introduction – that is how most placements abroad start.
  4. Models from abroad can apply; a work permit is arranged by the agency once a placement is agreed.
  5. Never pay to apply. A licensed agency earns a commission on your work, nothing upfront.

Looking for an agency that can place you abroad?

Supermodels is a mother agency in Vilnius, Lithuania, working since 2001. It develops new faces and places models with agencies in Paris, Milan, London and Asia. Applying is free and commits you to nothing.

Jurgita is published by Supermodels, so this is our own agency. Other agencies' profiles are based on public sources and their own information.

What you need before applying

Agencies ask for the same three things: clean digitals, exact measurements and – once you are signed – a composite card for castings.

Make a composite card
01Does Heartbreak Management accept international models?

Heartbreak Management does not say explicitly; apply online or through your mother agency.

02Do I need a mother agency to join Heartbreak Management?

Not necessarily, but most placements abroad are arranged agency-to-agency, so a mother agency makes the introduction easier.

03Is there an application fee at Heartbreak Management?

No legitimate agency charges to apply; if you are asked to pay upfront, walk away.

04How do I apply to Heartbreak Management?

Through its online application form (linked above) with digitals and measurements.
