Worth knowing
The agency's application page sets the requirements: girls aged 14-22 and 172-184 cm, boys aged 15-25 and 183-190 cm. Applicants under 18 must bring a parent to the casting, no castings are held by Skype or webcam, and only suitable applicants get a reply. The contact page warns about people online falsely posing as Scoop scouts.
Agency website, 2026-10-18On 3 February 2026 the daily Berlingske reported that the agency's name appeared in released Jeffrey Epstein documents. Director Bente Lundquist confirmed that she had worked with Epstein's friend, the model scout Jean-Luc Brunel, but said she knew nothing of his 'sexual interests'. The station Radio4 appealed the same month to former Scoop models of the 1990s who had visited Epstein and Brunel.
Berlingske, 2026-02-03The agency's own site says Scoop Models was founded in 1993 by former top model Bente Lundquist, who started her career in Paris at 16 and became a favourite model of the photographer Helmut Newton. The Lex encyclopedia adds that the agency helped launch Kirstin Liljegren, Mathias Lauridsen and Amanda Nørgaard and took part in the DR series 'Modellerne' in 2000.
