Modeling work in Nice
The jurgita.com catalogue lists two agencies in Nice. Fashion Models Management is based on Boulevard de Cimiez. On its website it presents itself as a scouting agency founded in 2011 by the model Irina Kazhamiakina, who worked in the leading markets for more than twelve years. The agency writes that it focuses on building long-term careers abroad and that its partners are agencies in Milan, Paris, New York, London, Tokyo and Seoul. An agency like this becomes your mother agency: it finds you an agency in a large market and negotiates the terms.
The agency says it is looking for candidates aged 13 to 25 with a height of 170 to 182 cm. If you are a minor, remember that in France only an agency with a separate approval may represent a child under 16, so ask about it before anything is signed. The catalogue list is on the women page.
Must Model presents itself on Instagram as a Mediterranean model agency working in fashion, advertising, children and seniors. Its company was registered in Nice in 2025, and its website was under maintenance when we checked, so we give no boards or address from it.
W Modeling Agency is registered in neighbouring Antibes. Two agencies that the catalogue lists under Lyon also work on the Côte d'Azur: Hourra Models has an office in Sophia Antipolis near Nice, and Enjoy says it works in Nice too.
The nearest markets and how to get there
- Paris – the main market, with the fashion weeks and most catalogue agencies. Eleven trains a day run between Paris Gare de Lyon and Nice; the trip takes 6 hours 15 minutes on average and 5 hours 42 minutes on the fastest train.
- Lyon – four catalogue agencies with women's, men's and kids' boards.
- Milan – the nearest major fashion capital and one of the markets where the Nice agency's partners work.
How to get started
- Take simple digitals in daylight and write down accurate measurements.
- For fashion work, choose a mother agency or a few agencies in Paris by the boards you fit, and only travel once you have been invited to meet.
- Apply through each agency's official channels. First check on the agency's profile whether it charges applicants and how much. In France advice about becoming a model is free by law, and an agency can recover what it spends on your career only through deductions from your pay.
- Before you sign, ask the agency for its licence number: the licence is compulsory for every model agency in France. The profile shows whether a licence number and SYNAM or FFAM membership are known.
- Watch out for pressure to decide or pay on the spot and for contracts that renew automatically; more warning signs are in modeling scams. Contracts, tax and the rules for minors are covered on the France agencies page.
