In short
- The catalogue has one agency in Tartu: Lana Models Estonia, a children's model school that Facebook lists as a modelling agency.
- It has no website and we found no roster for clients; the school operates through the non-profit association MTÜ Lana Models, registered in 2020.
- The other 18 Estonian agencies in the catalogue work in Tallinn.
Lana Models Estonia
Tartu is Estonia's second-largest city. Of the 19 Estonian agencies in our catalogue, one is here. Estonia has neither a licence written for model agencies nor an association of them, so the catalogue lists every business that represents models. We do not vouch for them, and each profile shows what we found, good and bad: fees, schools, the company's status in the register and press reports.
Lana Models Estonia is a children's model class at Laulupeo pst 25. Its Facebook page says that children learn posing, photo shoots, stage movement, the catwalk, style and acting, and prepare for castings. The page is filed under modelling agencies and is active: the newest post we saw is dated 3 October 2026. In the catalogue the agency has a kids board.
Two things are useful to know in advance. The school has no website and works only through Facebook, and we found no roster from which clients could choose, so we do not know whether it represents children in client work. We found no price list either, so you will learn the price of classes only by asking. The school operates through the non-profit association MTÜ Lana Models: it was entered in the register on 7 September 2020 under code 80584943, its status is registered and its 2025 annual report has been filed.
One more catalogue agency has a link to Tartu: the company behind the Tallinn agency Beatrice MASS Modelnet now has its registered office in Tartu, although the agency's website gives an address in Tallinn Old Town.
Other markets
- Tallinn has 18 of the 19 catalogue agencies and hosts Tallinn Fashion Week twice a year.
- Riga is the nearest larger market outside Estonia, with 16 catalogue agencies.
How to get started
- Decide what you are looking for: a school teaches, and an agency commits to representing you only by contract. Ask whether pupils get jobs and who puts them forward to clients.
- Read on the agency's profile what we found about the school and its association, and before the first class ask the price and what it includes.
- If your child is offered work in an advertisement or a show, keep the Estonian rules in mind: a child aged 7 to 12 may only do light work in culture, art, sports or advertising, and the employer registers the child in the employment register five working days ahead and sends the Labour Inspectorate the parent's consent.
- To apply to a fashion agency, plain digitals in daylight and accurate measurements are enough; most Tallinn agencies accept applications online.
- Before you sign, ask for the contract in writing and look in it for the commission, the length of the exclusivity and the usage rights for your child's photos.
- The licence, tax, commission and all the rules for minors are covered in the guide Modeling agencies in Estonia.
