Cretanart
Heraklion is the largest city on Crete. Of the 24 Greek agencies in our catalogue, one is here, and it is the only one on any Greek island. Greece has neither a licence for model agencies nor an association of them, so the catalogue lists every agency that represents models. We do not vouch for them, and each profile shows what we found, good and bad: fees charged to applicants, payment terms, schools, company details and press reports.
Cretanart is an event production, promotion and model agency founded by Giorgos G. Asargiotakis in 2004. Its office is on Epimenidou Street in the city centre. On its website the agency says it has been based in Heraklion since 2004 and covers advertising needs in all the prefectures of Crete, and that it now works together with the Athens agency Cristi Models, which gives the same address as its own office on Crete. The company holds the rights to the Pan-Cretan beauty pageant: it produced the 45th edition, Miss Kriti 2025, in Heraklion on 6 December 2025.
The agency says it also builds portfolios for new models. Before you order one, ask what it costs and whether it is linked to being taken on by the agency. In the catalogue it is listed on the pages women and men.

How to get started
- Take simple digitals in daylight and write down accurate measurements.
- Check on the agency's profile what we found about its services for new models, and ask the price before you order a portfolio.
- Before you sign, ask for the contract in writing and look in it for the commission, the length of the exclusivity and the payment term. In Greece you wait several months for your fees.
- Be wary of people who write in an agency's name from personal accounts and of pressure to pay at once: these are signs of a modeling scam.
