Paleo Faliro's agencies
Paleo Faliro is a seaside municipality south of central Athens. Of the 24 Greek agencies in our catalogue, two are here. Greece has neither a licence for model agencies nor an association of them, so the catalogue lists every agency that represents models. We do not vouch for them, and each profile shows what we found, good and bad: fees charged to applicants, payment terms, schools, company details and press reports.
Manousaki Models was founded by Maria Manousaki in 2008; its website says the agency soon became one of the biggest in Greek fashion and advertising. The site is now branded Manousaki The Agency and offers event planning next to models. The office is on Terpsichoris Street, about 100 metres from the Batis tram stop. In the catalogue the agency has women's and men's boards.
VN Model Management has been active since 2007 and is run by Vasso Bania. On the agency's website the models are divided into the lists Main Board, International, On Stay, Talents and Artists, so for now the catalogue lists it under the talent board only. The catalogue has no office address for it.

- Take simple digitals in daylight and write down accurate measurements.
- Check on the agencies' profiles what we found about their boards, services and fees for applicants, and compare them with the Athens agencies.
- Before you sign, ask for the contract in writing and look in it for the commission, the length of the exclusivity and the payment term. In Greece you wait several months for your fees.
- Be wary of people who write in an agency's name from personal accounts and of pressure to pay at once: these are signs of a modeling scam.
