Bilbao is the largest city in the Basque Country, and in our catalogue it is represented by SF40 Agency. The agency takes its name from its address, number 40 Calle San Francisco, near the old town. It was founded and is run by Lucía Marzo, and on its website SF40 calls itself the leading agency in northern Spain.
SF40 scouts new faces and handles bookings for models, influencers and commercial actors. In 2020 the agency's director, Andrea Donati, told the newspaper El Correo what kind of work comes in: films and series, commercials, photo shoots, catwalk shows and hostess work at events in and around Bilbao. That year 350 people signed up for the agency's open casting. In a city of this size the work is mostly commercial, so good digitals and being at ease in front of the camera matter most.
