In short
- Our catalogue lists 12 agencies in Dublin out of 19 in Ireland. Six work in Dublin 2, two in Dublin 1 and one each in Dublin 8 and Dublin 24.
- The catalogue lists every business that represents models, and we do not vouch for them. Profiles show fees too: Casting Ireland charges a €14.99 registration fee, and Young Artists Management a photographic and maintenance fee of €60 to €100 and a commission of 10% to 20%.
- Two Dublin agencies are on the official list of licensed employment agencies: Fraser Models + Actors and Casting Ireland.
- The second Ireland Fashion Week runs from 7 to 12 October 2026; the organiser books its models through agencies.
- With a TFI Leap Card, 90 minutes of travel costs €2, and no more than €6 is deducted in a day or €24 in a week.
This page covers only what is specific to Dublin. The licence, commission, tax, rules for minors and papers are covered in the guide Modeling agencies in Ireland.
Where Dublin's agencies are
Ireland has neither a licence written for model agencies nor an association of them, so the catalogue lists every business that represents models. That includes agencies that charge applicants a registration or photo fee, sell courses or represent extras alongside models, and agencies about whose company we found little data. We do not vouch for them or recommend them: each agency's profile shows what we found, good and bad. There you will see fees charged to applicants with their prices, courses, the company's number and status in the register, the licence number if the agency has one, press reports and history.
We have an office address for 10 of the 12 Dublin agencies. By postal district and Eircode routing key they are spread as follows:
| Part of the city | Agencies | Nearest stops |
|---|---|---|
| Dublin 2 (D02), by Grafton Street | 2: First Management, Young Artists Management | Luas Green Line: Dawson, Trinity, St. Stephen's Green |
| Dublin 2 (D02), Merrion Square and Mount Street | 2: Casting Ireland, Assets Model Agency | DART: Pearse, Grand Canal Dock |
| Dublin 2 (D02), by the Grand Canal | 2: Fraser Models + Actors, Morgan The Agency | DART: Grand Canal Dock, about 600 m away; Luas Charlemont, about 1.1 km |
| Dublin 1 (D01), north city centre | 2: Distinct Model Management, Rós Model Management | Luas Green Line: O'Connell GPO, O'Connell Upper, Parnell; Red Line: Abbey Street |
| Dublin 8 (D08), the Liberties | 1: Not Another Intl | Luas Red Line: Four Courts, about 600 m away across the river |
| Dublin 24 (D24), Tallaght | 1: Eko Model Management | Luas Red Line: Tallaght, Hospital |
Two agencies, AR Agency and Eloi Models, are not in the table because we found no office address on their websites. The distances in the table are straight lines measured on OpenStreetMap. Closest to the tram is First Management, in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre: it is about 250 metres from the Dawson stop. Casting Ireland is less than 300 metres from Pearse DART station. Fraser Models + Actors on Herbert Street and Morgan The Agency on Herbert Place are neighbours by the Grand Canal, and Grand Canal Dock is the handiest station for both. Furthest from the centre is Eko Model Management: its office is in Tallaght, a south-western suburb where one branch of the Luas Red Line ends.
The oldest agency in Dublin is Morgan The Agency: it has worked since 1973, when it started as Nan Morgan Models, and calls itself Ireland's longest established talent agency. Assets Model Agency was set up in 1993 by the model Derek Daniels with Mags Humphries. First Management was founded by Jules Fallon in 1996 as 1st Option Models; the agency announced its present name on 28 February 2026. AR Agency was set up in December 2011 by Andrea Roche, one of three well-known models who left Assets within a single week in the autumn of 2010. Not Another Intl goes back to 2015, when Emma Fraser and Aislinn Lawlor founded Not Another Agency. The company behind Fraser Models + Actors was registered in 2012, and that of Eko Model Management in 2024.
Several agencies have short records in the catalogue for now. On 11 October 2026 the Distinct Model Management domain showed only a registrar's page, so we took its address and boards from archived copies of the site. Eloi Models, directed by Elio Fontana, has women's and men's boards, and we found no founding year or company details. Casting Ireland has no boards assigned in the catalogue because its talent pool is visible only after login. Rós Model Management is directed by Gabriela and Ronan Patterson; we did not find it in the company register data.
Ten agencies each have a women's and a men's board, 7 each a talent and a new faces board, 6 a kids board, 5 a commercial board, 2 each a curve and a senior board, and 1 a sport board. You will find agencies by board on the pages women, men, talent, new faces, kids, commercial, curve, senior and sport. Fashion boards set height requirements: Morgan The Agency asks for at least 5'8" (about 173 cm) for women and 6' (about 183 cm) for men, and AR Agency for 5'9" (about 175 cm) and an age of at least 14.
Agencies outside Dublin
Ireland's other seven agencies work one to a town in smaller places. Two are closest to the capital:
- Kildare (1) is a town south-west of Dublin. Ipanema Agency, a casting and model agency with women's, men's and kids boards, is based here.
- Bettystown (1) is a seaside village in County Meath, north of Dublin. Promo Models mostly supplies event and promotion staff and has a board of commercial models.
Further from the capital there are agencies in Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Killarney and Kinvara. Northern Ireland's agencies are in a different catalogue: see Belfast and the United Kingdom guide.
Licence, fees for applicants and payment
These facts come from the agencies' own websites, public registers and the press. We show them on the agency profiles as well, so that you can compare before you apply.
- Fraser Models + Actors: the company Fraser Models and Actors Limited is on the list of licensed employment agencies (licence EA 3637). It takes applications only through its own form, and a reply can take four weeks; no fee for applicants is mentioned.
- Casting Ireland: the company Production Operations Limited is on the list of licensed agencies too (EA 2180). Registration costs a one-off administration fee of €14.99; it is non-refundable and guarantees no work. The agency takes a percentage of fees, and its talent pool is open to actors, models and extras.
- Young Artists Management: the commission is 10% for theatre and radio, 15% for film and television and 20% for commercials. There is no interview or registration fee, but a combined photographic and maintenance fee is paid on registration: €60 for one child, €80 for two, €90 for three and €100 for four (the page gives the amounts without a currency sign). The agency itself warns parents that its large client list lowers each child's chance of getting work or an audition.
- Eko Model Management: joining is free, and the agency calls itself a promotional platform first. Its optional paid services are a studio headshot day at €60 (4 unedited images), portfolio builds, workshops and one-to-one sessions.
- AR Agency: sells a one-day Become A Model Bootcamp with advice from Andrea Roche, make-up, a portfolio shoot and catwalk lessons. We found no price on the page, so ask for it.
- Morgan The Agency, Assets Model Agency and First Management: the application pages mention no fee for applicants. Morgan The Agency writes that it does not require professional photos.
- Not Another Intl: on 11 October 2026 its pages carried dozens of injected links to betting sites, a sign that the website has been compromised. Check its contact details through other channels as well.
Only Young Artists Management describes its payment term publicly: the money is paid out once the production company has paid, usually within about a month and sometimes up to three. Ask other agencies about this yourself, and ask for the answer in writing.
What work to expect in Dublin
Dublin's agencies work well beyond fashion. Fraser Models + Actors represents actors for film, television and stage and models for editorial, catalogue and show. Morgan The Agency has boards of actors, commercial talent and creatives next to its models. AR Agency calls itself a talent management and influencer marketing agency, and First Management has moved towards influencer management in recent years. Eloi Models offers models for commercial, fashion and e-commerce projects. So commercial models, children, families and actors get much of the work here.
The first Primark store opened in Dublin, and in Ireland the chain still trades as Penneys; the Brown Thomas and Arnotts department stores are here too. Advertising also pays for usage rights, so before you confirm a job, ask where, for how long and in which countries the ad will run. How to get ready for castings is covered in model castings: how to prepare.
Ireland Fashion Week
Ireland Fashion Week was founded by Ashley McDonnell; the organiser calls it the country's first national fashion week. It is held once a year, in October, and its shows take place in Dublin and at venues elsewhere in the country. We did not research the history of earlier Dublin fashion weeks and festivals, so we do not tell it here.
Second Ireland Fashion Week: 7 to 12 October 2026
It opened at Slane Castle, the Dublin shows are at City Hall and the RDS, and the programme ends at Mount Juliet. The organiser announces more than 90 designers. The event is also in our fashion calendar.
| Edition | Dates | What is known |
|---|---|---|
| First | 6–10 October 2025 | seven shows across Ireland; by the organiser's count, 55 designers and more than 2,000 attendees |
| Second | 7–12 October 2026 | eight shows and showcases, more than 90 designers; Slane Castle, City Hall and the RDS in Dublin, Mount Juliet |
The organiser has not announced dates for 2027. Besides the opening ceremony, the 2026 programme has the shows Irish Roots, House of Amaranthine, Bold Golf, Sinéad O'Dwyer, Damhsa, Rashhiiid, Brotherwolf, Sasha Donnellan, MNÁ and Aoife McNamara, and the Irish Edit showroom. Virgin Media Television is the broadcast partner.
What it means for a model
The organiser itself supplies the models for every show, along with the venue, hair, make-up and photographers. In its answers to designers it describes the process like this:
- the casting details go to model agencies first;
- the agencies propose their models, and the proposals are passed on to the designers;
- a separate model casting day is held before the shows;
- the designers and their show coordinators pick the cast for each show so that schedules do not clash;
- the models are booked for one or more shows directly through their agencies.
So the way onto this runway is through an agency, not through an open call. We have not confirmed which agencies supply the models. If you want to take part, ask your agency at the end of the summer whether it has received the casting details and when the casting day will be. Runway requirements are covered in the guide runway model, and the guide model castings: how to prepare will help you get ready.
How a Lithuanian model gets to Dublin
The safest route is through a mother agency in Lithuania. It sends Dublin agencies your digitals, measurements and a video, and once there is an offer it helps you weigh the terms: the commission, the exclusivity, the payment term and the costs. You can also apply directly, in the way the agency's own website describes.
As an EU citizen you need neither a visa nor a work permit: a passport or national ID card is enough. Ireland is not in the Schengen Area, so your document will be checked at the border. If you only fly in for jobs and keep living in Lithuania, you do not have to register in Ireland. For the agency to pay you, you may need a PPS number; this, along with tax for non-residents, is explained in the Ireland guide.
There is no train or tram from Dublin Airport. Transport for Ireland buses run into the city, among them routes 16 and 41, as do the Dublin Express and Aircoach coaches, which stop in the centre too.
Housing and transport
We found no reliable public data on model apartment prices in Dublin, so ask for the housing cost in writing, ask whether the agency will deduct it from your fees, and check it later on your statement.
As a guide, there is the rent index of the Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) and the research institute ESRI, which is built from registered tenancies. Its first-quarter figures, published in September 2026, put the standardised average rent in new tenancies in Dublin at €2,335 a month, 7.8% more than a year earlier, and at €2,301 in Dublin city itself. The national average was €1,839, and the figure for existing tenancies in Dublin was €1,960. These are long-term rents for a whole home; a room in a shared flat costs less, and a short-term let for a visiting model usually costs more.
TFI tickets and the Leap Card
Dublin's buses, the Luas tram, DART trains and commuter rail all belong to the Transport for Ireland (TFI) network. On 11 October 2026 the prices on the TFI and Leap Card websites were as follows:
- the 90-minute fare with a TFI Leap Card is €2: within 90 minutes you can change between city buses, the Luas, DART and commuter rail in Zone 1;
- young adults of 19 to 25 and students pay €1 with a Young Adult or Student card;
- a short journey with the card is €1.50; a longer bus journey paid in cash is €2.60;
- the daily cap is €6 and the weekly cap, from Monday to Sunday, €24: once you reach the cap, nothing more is deducted;
- the Leap Visitor Card is €8 for one day (24 hours), €18 for three days and €24 for seven; it is valid on city buses, the Luas, DART and commuter rail in Zone 1, but not on Bus Éireann services or on tour buses;
- Nitelink night buses and Express routes cost €2.40 with the card.
On the tram and on trains you tap the card on and off; on a bus you tap on only. At the airport the visitor card is sold by WHSmith in Terminal 1 and Spar in Terminal 2. If you have three or four castings in a day, you reach the daily cap with your third journey, and the weekly cap with your twelfth. If you arrive on a day other than Monday, the seven-day visitor card can be the better buy: it costs the same as the weekly cap but counts 168 hours from first use.
Minors modeling in Dublin
Children under 16 may work in advertising, cultural and artistic projects only under a licence, which the employer requests in writing from the Workplace Relations Commission at least 21 days ahead. Six Dublin agencies represent children: Young Artists Management works with children and young adults up to the age of 25, Fraser Models + Actors has a Kids + Teens board from newborns to teenagers, Morgan The Agency takes children from about 4 for commercial work and AR Agency from 2, and Assets Model Agency and Distinct Model Management have kids boards as well. Eko Model Management takes no under-18s. The hour limits and other conditions are in the Ireland guide.
What to expect in your first season
- Most of your invitations will be to castings for advertising and screen work. A few weeks without bookings is normal.
- Ask when the money will come: one agency says about a month, and sometimes three. Have savings to live on, because rent in Dublin is high.
- Check every deduction and the commission on your model statement.
- If an agency asks for money for registration, photos or courses, check the amount on its profile and compare it with others. Be wary of pressure to pay at once and of people who write in an agency's name from personal accounts: these are signs of a modeling scam.
- An agency may ask for your PPS number only when you start work, not during recruitment.
- Before you sign an exclusive contract, read how it can be ended. Risky clauses are covered in the guide modeling contract.
