How to get started
- Take simple digitals in daylight and write down accurate measurements.
- For advertising and commercial work in the region, the local agency fits. If you are aiming for fashion work, pick a few agencies in Munich, Hamburg or Berlin and only travel once you have been invited to meet.
- Apply through the agency's official channels. A genuine agency does not charge for applying or for a casting; being asked to pay upfront for registration, a Sedcard or a photo shoot is a sign of a modeling scam.
- Contracts, commission, tax and the rules for minors are covered in the guide Modeling agencies in Germany.
