How this list is made
Each agency is checked against public company registers, state licence requirements and professional-association member lists, then against its own website. Only agencies confirmed as operating are published. No agency pays to be listed and there are no rankings or reviews. Last verified: 2026-10-10.
01How many modeling agencies are there in Berlin?
This catalogue lists 32 verified agencies in Berlin, including Today's Models, VIVA Models Berlin, Seeds Management and IZAIO Management. Only agencies with a current licence or professional-association membership, or confirmed by at least two independent sources, are included.

Prenzlauer Berg has 8 (most in the Kollwitzkiez quarter), Mitte 4, Schöneberg 4, Charlottenburg 3 (two of them off Kurfürstendamm), Kreuzberg 2 and the borough of Neukölln 2. Friedrichshain, Tiergarten, Lichtenberg, Niederschöneweide and the south of Tempelhof-Schöneberg have one agency each.
03When is Berlin Fashion Week?
Twice a year, at the end of January and the start of July. In 2026 it ran from 30 January to 2 February (42 shows, about 30,000 visitors) and on 2–5 July (53 shows and 62 side events). The next edition runs from 29 January to 1 February 2027, and the summer edition is announced for 1–4 July 2027.

Mostly commercial work: e-commerce, lookbooks and advertising. The city also has specialist agencies for hand models, sports models and tattooed models. Most catwalk work comes during Berlin Fashion Week in January and July.
06How much does it cost a model to live in Berlin?
We found no reliable public figures for model apartment prices. Berlin's official rent index, the Mietspiegel 2026, in force since 28 May 2026, gives an average rent excluding utilities of €7.71 per square metre a month; that reflects existing contracts, and short lets cost more. An agency apartment is usually shared with other models and its price is deducted from your fees, so ask for the price in writing.
07Can a Lithuanian model work with a Berlin agency?
Yes, an EU citizen needs no work permit. A Lithuanian model usually arrives through a mother agency, which sends digitals and measurements to Berlin agencies. You can also apply directly, through the form or e-mail address on the agency's website. Registration when you move, tax and commission are covered in the Germany guide.
