In short
- The catalogue has one agency in Albertslund: JS Total Booking, a model and extras bureau since 1983 with an archive of about 2,500 people.
- The agency charges a one-off DKK 98 for a profile and sells photo sessions; its application page says not everyone is accepted and no jobs are guaranteed.
- The current company dates from 2021 and its purpose also covers booking construction crews; the "Polititilladelse" form on its menu has been out of date since 1 January 2026.
JS Total Booking
Albertslund is a western suburb of Copenhagen. Of the 32 Danish agencies in our catalogue, one is here, and it differs from the fashion agencies in the city: it is a bureau for extras and commercial models of every age and size. Denmark has neither a licence for model agencies nor an association of them, so the catalogue lists every business that represents models, including those that charge a fee. We do not vouch for them, and each profile shows what we found, good and bad.
JS Total Booking calls itself Denmark's leading model and extras bureau since 1983. By its own account, JS-Booking was established by Jytte Sørensen and is now a family business run by her daughter Sanne Wiese. The archive holds about 2,500 models and extras of all ages, heights, sizes and types, which clients can search by age and height; the clients named are DR, TV2, Nordisk Film, LEGO and Carlsberg. The catalogue assigns it commercial, kids and senior boards, which makes it the only place in the Copenhagen area with a senior board in the catalogue. The office is at Djursvang 6B, 2620 Albertslund; the directory cylex.dk still shows an older address at Rendsagervej 12 in Vallensbæk.
The agency's about page says it is approved by the Ministry of Employment. The permit for private job placement in Denmark lasted until 1 July 1990, when the liberalisation act of 1989 repealed it, so such an approval can only date from the agency's first years; today there is nothing in Denmark under which a model agency can be approved or licensed. The current company, JS Total-Booking ApS, CVR 42308765, was founded in the register on 15 April 2021 with the status NORMAL, and its purpose covers both extras for photo and film shoots and the booking of crews for construction jobs. If you sign, your contracting party is this 2021 company, not the history since 1983.
The agency charges a one-off DKK 98 for a profile in its archive and separately offers paid photo sessions; the price of the sessions is not in our files, it is on the agency's "Fotosession" page. The application page says that anyone may apply but not everyone is accepted, and that no jobs are guaranteed; the form with a photo is at the bottom of the page. None of the 16 Copenhagen agencies mentions a fee on its application pages, and Unique Models writes that starting and courses are free. Before you pay, count how many days as an extra it would take to earn back the fee and a photo session, and ask whether people in the archive get jobs without the paid session.
No Danish law sets or bans an agency's fee to models. The one ban on charging workers in force is written for temp agencies that employ the worker and send them to work under a client's direction; no official text applies it to a bureau that offers self-employed extras. What applies is marketing law, which demands honest selling and special care with children and young people, and contract law, under which an unreasonable clause can be set aside. The fee for a job is B-income, on which you pay the tax and the 8% labour market contribution yourself.
Children and the outdated police form
The agency's menu has an item called "Polititilladelse", which leads to a police form for a child's work permit. Since 1 January 2026 the permits for children under 13 to take part in shoots, commercials and films are issued by Arbejdstilsynet, the Working Environment Authority, under section 38 of the order on young people's work, BEK nr 1713 af 18/12/2025, case by case, and no longer by the police. Either the client company or the parents apply through virk.dk, the answer comes within 3 weeks at most, the starting point is up to 7 hours a day, and for children aged 6 or under the default is a refusal. From 13 no permit is needed. If the agency offers your child a job, ask who will apply to Arbejdstilsynet, because the police form no longer applies.
Other markets
A fashion model with height requirements has no reason to look in Albertslund: Copenhagen has 16 agencies, among them Unique Models, Scoop Models, Elite Model Management Copenhagen and Le Management, and most commercial and extras work goes through BASIC CPH, with an archive of more than 6,500 faces and no fee on its application page. For children there are Le Management Kids in Copenhagen, Star Kids in Hellerup and 1·kid modelmanagement in Klampenborg; none of them mentions a registration fee. Outside Copenhagen, fees are charged by Casablanca Models in Ebeltoft (a DKK 500 test shoot and a DKK 1,950 "Model for a day") and Cast Agency Denmark in Tappernøje (DKK 385 registration). The absence of a licence, tax and the papers for a model from abroad are covered in the guide Modeling agencies in Denmark.
Before you apply
- Decide whether you want an archive for extras and commercial jobs or a fashion agency. If the latter, start with the Copenhagen page.
- Check the company: CVR 42308765 opens free of charge at datacvr.virk.dk; your contract is with JS Total-Booking ApS, founded in 2021.
- Before you pay the DKK 98, ask in writing how many jobs people of your age and type got in recent months and whether the photo session is compulsory.
- Ask what is paid for a day as an extra or a model, when the fee is transferred and how much the agency keeps; every deduction should appear on your statement.
- A free registration followed by a paid photo session is a common pattern of a modeling scam; here both are open and published, but do the same arithmetic.
