In short
- The catalogue has two agencies in Odense out of 32 in Denmark: CC Models (a model and casting agency since 2004) and Ewa Talents Management (a Milan mother agency, in Odense since 2023).
- We do not vouch for the agencies. CC Models says it never demands payment and never casts over Skype; the site of Ewa Talents Management shows no fee and no street address, and its board has six women and eight men.
- Neither is on the signatory list of the Danish Fashion Ethical Charter.
- The big markets are Copenhagen (16 agencies) and Aarhus (4); the Ebeltoft agency Casablanca Models says 80 percent of its jobs are in those two cities.
This page covers only what is specific to Odense and Funen. Why Denmark has no licence, what the law says about fees charged to applicants, how fees are taxed, how minors work and what papers a model from abroad needs are all in the guide Modeling agencies in Denmark.
What kind of agencies work in Odense
Denmark has no licence for model agencies, no register of them and no association of agencies, so the catalogue lists every business that represents models. We do not vouch for them and we recommend none: each profile shows what we found, good and bad. In Odense that means two very different businesses. CC Models is local: founded by a former model from Funen, it works from Kronprinsensgade in the city centre and gets its bookings mostly from Danish advertising. Ewa Talents Management is international: its roots are in Milan, Odense is its second base, and its aim is to find new faces and place them in bigger markets. We found no agency office in other Funen towns (Svendborg was checked). In 2002 the Aalborg agency Danish Models told TV 2 Fyn it was opening a Funen branch, but there has been no trace of it since, and it is not in the catalogue.
CC Models
CC Models presents itself as a Danish model and casting agency that matches talented people with commercial and advertising projects in Denmark and abroad. The site says C&C Models started in the summer of 2004, and Fyens Stiftstidende wrote on 10 April 2012 that the former model Frank Christensen founded it in Odense on the basis of his own experience. The present company, C & C Models ApS (CVR 42184926), was registered on 1 March 2021 at Kronprinsensgade 19, 5000 Odense C, according to the register copy; its registered purpose is "model agency with placement of models" and it has one employee. The same paper wrote on 20 March 2026 that the company increased its profit in the 2025 accounts; the paper's company database gives a gross profit of DKK 2.0 million for 2025.
The boards show that models and casting are equal activities here: Girls and Boys for children, Female and Male for adults, Classic Female and Classic Male for older models, plus Actors, Street Cast and Relations. The slogan is "Real People. Real Actors. Real Fun". In the English version of the site the agency calls itself a Denmark-based talent agency and model agency. Applications go by e-mail with two photos; the agency gives no height or age figures and says charisma matters more than age, height and weight.
The contact page of CC Models sets out three rules that match those of the big Copenhagen agencies: it never casts over Skype or social media, never asks for photos without clothes or in underwear and never demands payment. The site gives no commission rate, like every other Danish agency whose pages we opened; ask for it in writing before you sign.
Ewa Talents Management
Ewa Talents Management is a mother agency: it scouts new faces, develops them and places them with agencies in other markets. The site says the agency was founded in Milan in 2017 by Ewa Ades, who after studying architecture moved from Rome to Milan to pursue a modelling career, tried scouting and met her purpose; since 2023 the agency also works from Odense. In the Danish company register the sole proprietorship Ewa Talents Management (CVR 43883240) was registered on 1 January 2023 in Odense; the registered address is a flat, and the site prints only "ODENSE, Denmark" and the VAT number DK43883240, so the catalogue carries no street address. The directories ModelGlance and models.com also list it under Odense.
The board is small, and that is useful to know in advance: in October 2026 the women's board had six models with measurements, one of them silver-haired, and the men's board eight. Applications go through the contact form or by e-mail; the site states no height or age requirements and mentions no fee. A small mother agency's strength is its links to Milan and its weakness its dependence on one person, so before you sign ask which agencies abroad will receive your pictures, how the commission is shared and who pays for travel.
Model agency and casting agency: the difference
CC Models calls itself both a model agency and a casting agency, and in Denmark that is common: BASIC CPH in Copenhagen and Smash Agency in Aarhus work the same way. The difference matters to your wallet. A model agency represents a limited number of people, negotiates the fee, takes a commission from it and often asks for exclusivity. A casting agency keeps a wide file of people of all types (actors, extras, families, street-cast characters) and offers them to clients for particular projects; the work is more often commercial and one-off, and some Danish casting businesses charge for a place in the file. CC Models says it charges nothing, while Cast Agency Denmark in South Zealand, whose catalogue only logged-in clients can see, sets a one-off registration fee of DKK 385 in its terms. Where an agency has both sides, as CC Models does, ask which board you are put on and whether exclusivity applies to it.
Odense has neither fashion boards with foreign offices nor an open casting on a set day of the week. If your aim is fashion weeks and agencies abroad, the route runs through Ewa Talents Management to Milan or through the Copenhagen and Aarhus agencies: Unique Models in Aarhus holds an open casting every Friday, and Copenhagen has 16 agencies with new faces boards. If your aim is advertising, catalogues and television on Funen, CC Models is the only local agency whose file clients can see.
The Odense market
Odense is Denmark's third-largest city and the centre of the island of Funen, halfway between Copenhagen and Aarhus. For model work that means most bookings are elsewhere: the Ebeltoft kids agency Casablanca Models says in its FAQ that 80 percent of its jobs are in Copenhagen or Aarhus, and the board of LESS Models in Herning includes models from Odense. The train from Odense reaches Copenhagen over the Great Belt bridge and Aarhus through northern Funen. Copenhagen Fashion Week takes place in the capital twice a year, in January or February and in August.
Odense has its own place in Danish fashion history: the trade body Dansk Mode & Textil (DM&T) was founded here in 1895 as the association of Danish textile manufacturers, although its head office is in Herning today. The local paper Fyens Stiftstidende writes about agencies too: in 2012 about the founder of CC Models, in 2026 about the company's accounts. For anyone staying longer than three months, Odense has an International Citizen Service centre, ICS South, where the CPR number is issued.
On 5 September 2025 the Funen broadcaster TV 2 Fyn carried a Ritzau report that Instagram profiles posing as Le Management agents asked young women for their age, measurements and intimate pictures; the agency's legal adviser Ditte Roesgaard said it had received a number of such complaints, and a profile named Alexander Stormgaard claimed to be a scout although no such person works there. No Odense agency is named. The rule is the same everywhere: real agencies do not cast over social media and do not ask for underwear pictures.
Conditions, compared
Two agencies are too few for a table, so in brief. CC Models takes applications by e-mail with two photos, sets no numerical requirements, charges no fee and says so; its board has children, adults, classic models and actors. Ewa Talents Management takes applications through a form or by e-mail, its site has no numerical requirements and mentions no fee; its board has women and men only, both sections small. Neither is on the signatory list of the Danish Fashion Ethical Charter, so the charter's health check and age rules bind them only where the client has signed. Neither publishes a commission.
Children in Odense
CC Models has girls and boys boards, so the Danish rules matter to Odense parents: a child under 13 needs a permit from the Director of the Working Environment Authority (Arbejdstilsynet) for a photo shoot, issued case by case under order no. 1713 of 18 December 2025; since 1 January 2026 the authority, not the police, issues them. Either the company or the parents can apply through virk.dk, processing takes up to 3 weeks, and for a child of 6 or under the default is a refusal. From 13, shoots are allowed without a permit if they pose no danger to safety or health. Preparation, make-up and breaks count as working time; travel to the location does not. Children under 15 may as a rule not work between 20:00 and 06:00, and anyone, parents included, can complain to the authority about a child's working conditions. The Danish Fashion Ethical Charter, which the Odense agencies have not signed, sets a stricter floor for its signatory clients: work from 16, younger only in children's and teenage clothing with an accompanying adult.
Before you apply
Agencies in Denmark need no licence, so the checking is yours: the site must show the company's name, address, e-mail and eight-digit CVR number, which you can check free of charge at datacvr.virk.dk. Fees are taxed as B-income, and an EU citizen needs only a passport for up to three months. All of this is in the Denmark guide. For Odense we add four steps.
- Take plain digitals in daylight: CC Models asks for two photos, Ewa Talents Management gives no number.
- On the profile of Ewa Talents Management, note that the site has no street address; before a meeting, ask where it will take place and who the contract would be with.
- If Milan is your aim, ask in writing how the mother agency shares the commission with the foreign agency and who pays for travel and housing.
- If work in Denmark is your aim, compare the Odense agencies with those in Copenhagen and Aarhus, where there are open castings and fashion boards.
