In short
- The catalogue has one agency in Bussum: BRAD Models, a brand activation agency with a board of models listed by first name.
- The site names Dani as owner; it gives no address or KVK number and carries a 2021 copyright line.
- An activation agency's work is promotions and events, which is a different job from fashion shoots.
BRAD Models
Bussum is a town in the Gooi area of North Holland, between Amsterdam and Hilversum. One of the 100 Dutch agencies in our catalogue is here, and it is one of the catalogue's shortest entries. The catalogue takes in every business that represents models, because the country has no licence for model agencies, and the profiles say what we found.
BRAD Models presents itself on its site as an activation agency that is always looking for interactive concepts to suit the brand it represents. The site has a board of models listed by first name only and names Dani as owner. In the catalogue the agency is assigned women's, men's and commercial boards.
There is little else. The site still carries a 2021 copyright line and gives no address or KVK number, so we could not check the present scale of its activity. The catalogue gives the town as Bussum, but we hold no street address.
How an activation agency differs from a fashion agency
Brand activation means promotions, events and other live advertising in which a person represents a brand. Such an agency sells the client a concept and the people to carry it out. A fashion agency works differently: it represents the model, puts her forward for shoots and shows and takes a commission on the fee. So before you register, ask what jobs you would get and how you would be paid: as a self-employed person who sends an invoice, or as an employee. Who pays the tax, and how, depends on the answer.
The difference has a money side too. The statutory minimum hourly wage (from 1 July 2026, EUR 14.99 for people aged 21 and over and EUR 7.50 for 18-year-olds) applies to employees, including those paid through an agency's payroll. It is not a floor for a self-employed booking, so in that case you negotiate the hourly or daily rate yourself.
How to check a business when the site gives no details
The Dutch Civil Code requires a business website to show the name and address, an email address and the trade register number. Every business in the country has an eight-digit KVK number, and you can enter it, or the business name, in the Chamber of Commerce search free of charge. When a site lacks these details, ask for them by email before you meet. The police's advice to minors and their parents is just as plain: make sure the agency has a real website, and have a parent phone the office.
